Default Re: 12000 large disk support?

The issue is fixing drives that were formatted @ 128 gigs with larger capacity. Being formatted in a machine that has not been updated puts like a 128 gig clip on the hard drive. This isn't a problem with a new drive, only a drive that's been 'clipped' to 128 gigs. At least that's the theory. The drives can be formatted again easily on the 12000 after being formatted in the 2200.

Once they've been formatted at 128 in a 12000 that wasn't updated, it's a pain to get them seen as anything but. The 2200 trick is just one that was found to fix the 'clipped' drives again to full capacity. At least that's how it seems. Got another idea on how to do it, I'm listening because 're-init' does not work on the 12000. This is all theory because my time hasn't allowed me to find another way or utility to fix these drives.
