Hi there,

I have a Quantum SnapServer 2200 that has given sterling service since I purchased it brand new - well apart from it failing with the recall issue under warranty and being replaced by Quantum.

It has 2 x 80GB drives in it striped as a single 160GB drive and although that was a huge amount of space to begin with it is very limiting now.

I wish to increase the capacity to install 2 x 250GB drives (or larger) and wondered how best to go about it?

It would be great if I could do this and keep my data intact but obviously my prime concern is to increase the capacity.

Is there a preference for any particular make/model of drive?

What would be the best procedure to replace both drives in my 2200?
