The reason I have been running RAID 0 was simple - at the beginning my server had 8 x 4.5GB drives in a RAID 5 array for redundancy and I just wanted the maximum capacity I could get as a network drive!

I have Ghost! and an earlier version of Drive Image and Server Magic here but excuse my ignorance "use dd to copy the drives" - what is DD?

Also a detailed explanation of the format / reinint / debug /setup commands would be appreciated - is there any resource out there that explains in detail please?

I am running 3.4.803 (UK) but did purchase SnapOS_40830_2X00 some time ago but as everything was working OK never got round to installing it...

I see from your sig that you have upgraded your 2200 with 2 x 400GB drives - does everything work as expected?

I shall try & ignore the last line in your sig that ends with the word 'fried'
