agreed, the one that's going to be on all the time (nasmusic) is using the stock 40gb drives. i'll get some more fans for the two with maxtors in.

the other thing i was thinking of was cutting a port in the side of the case, using some thermal compound and sticking some stupidly large heatsinks onto it.

Also, if i change the IDE cable to 80 core and stick another two drives on (as slaves) will it see it do you think?
not sure the power supply would cope though.
