Default Re: EBM-Papst Watercooling?

"Densely integrated fan/pump unit, hermetically sealed"

Wonder why they did that? Compactness doesn't really warrant using the same motor to drive a fan and a pump head... Its sure looks like its a direct drive pump and the pump head and the fan blades share the same axle and the same magnet. Wonder what bearings they use and how they compare to the C-Systems mag design.
A direct drive pump can be very small, very quiet, and have great head, but I'm just questioning reliability. Wonder if they have any working prototypes.

Block isn't bad. Nozzles over a pin fin design. Performance probably somewhere in the neighborhood of a WW design?

Regardless it will come down to that 92mm radiator. Not going to squeeze much out of that.

And isn't this a bit late in the game to offer one of these kind of cooling solutions to OEMs? Who other than Alienware ever used one? And that was to cool multiple GPUs and the CPU. This thing wouldn't be able to handle that. Not to mention Intel's new drive to reduce power consumption which eliminates the need for anything like this. They should make it a more modular setup and aim it at enthusiasts. Follow Corsair's footsteps. It's slick on looks and has some kool design ideas, but I think its dumb to aim it at OEM's.
