I've been having a look at the quick release fittings at http://www.mcmaster.com - Quick Disconnect Hose Couplings (the top ones on page 8). I was thinking of fitting some to all my hoses, so I can swap out my waterblock/radiator etc. easily anytime I happen to upgrade them.

So, looking at the barbed hose connectors, my question is, which would be the best for 1/2" tubing as I can't work out if their listed connection sizes are 1/2" ID, OD or what? Does anyone have experience with mcmaster hose fittings that can help me out?
