Geek_Ed, Rather than upgrading the newer drive to OS 4. Upgrade it to 3.4.805 or 3.4.807 if you have either of those files. I think it'll have more of a liklihood of working. My 1100 came with 3.4.803 which wouldnt support >137gb drives.
