I have inherited a Snap 1100 (250GB model) that I have reset to factory defaults. I am able to access the web interface now, but going under any of the disk utilities gives me a "No Disks Found" message. A few questions:

1) The System LED on the front is blinking twice rapidly, nonstop. Is this an error code? The Disk LED is not flashing simultaneously.

2) The cooling fan is not currently on, is it temperature controlled or should it be on all the time?

3) Is the OS stored on the hard drive, or it is on ROM? If it can't find the disk, it shouldn't boot....right?
