I never noticed the cpu fan starts and stops I guess as it gets hot but boy when it runs it is crazy loud. Do you guys think that means I am about to lose the cpu fan?

The label of the fan only states
Globe Cooler
CPU Cooler
Ball Bearing
and someone has written with a felt pen the number 1 to the left of the globe and a plus sign to the right

If you recommend fan replacement can you recommend model and source please?

I would be totally lost without this forum.
thanks
IN regards to the Fan:
I have noticed the same thing on mine. I've had the fan since the begining and never had any indication of failure or overheating. I don't know if anyone has replaced it, but I imagine that any fan you can stick on there and wire up will work, as long as it has decent airflow (more than say 20 CFM).
