This is proably the source for all the problem. Does not have enough ram (or some space) to alocate 175mb.
But you only have 128meg due to high density, Yes???
If 256m you should have 192 meg after the 64 meg for OS.

Only 10% free memory is good?
I don't think it's the source of "all my problems" since I don't have any problems. Everything is working just fine. BTW I have 256M ram.
The fsck had problems getting memory after allocating the rest of the other 90% of ram for the i-node cache. This happened on the degraded RAID. It managed to use swap space and complete the fsck.
I'll try to "fix" the good raid5 after it is rebuilt and see if this memory "problem" comes back.
As far as I can tell, everything is working just fine.
