On the 1000 v2 it stores everything on the HD like a 2200 and 1100. The earlier v1 have flashram so you do not need a image file. But I must admit the 1X00 are strange. I do not know why the 1000 image does not work on some. It has to be a hardware rev, but I havn't a clue on what changed. And the 1100 I have is locked in waiting for IP, from someone making a bios change.
