I folks!.... i was searching for info about the snap! server 1000 and found this cool page.... i think im very lucky for that!....

Well, you see, some weeks ago i bought an used snap server but when i turn it on i found that the disk (30GB) was damaged (when it spins bumps and makes scary crackling-buzzing metallic sounds so im sure its lost).
This week finally i managed to ADQUIRE a good HD (WD 80GB) but i have no idea of what can i do to make the snap work.

I change the disk, plug the server and wait
the HD start to spin, then makes some readings and the SYSTEM led turns green, DISK led turns orange and LINK led turns green, and NET stays off.
Then SYSTEM and DISK leds start flashing slowly.

Now im reading here something about the need of a special Os and a program to manage the server. Can you explain me about it, just tell me where to find more info or the "snap for dummies book"?
And.... if someone has the IMG file.... i appreciate it. (i cant find it anyplace!).
