I'm trying to resurrect a Snap1000 that I received with no hard drive.

Snap Server 1000
Model # 70700204-002 (40GB)
Serial # 133178

Snap Assist Version 2.3.417

Long story short.. Adaptec says it's too old for getting any support on.

I have tried to install a new drive (10GB) and ended up at the Bad OS Blinks
(1 sys / 2 disk)

I've tried probing for it using Snap Assist as snap133178 to no effect..
(net light flashes but no servers found)

I've read through the forums and found that I cant just dd the
Snap 3.4.805 sup file I found on a floppy with it to a virgin disk.

Can anybody offer any other suggestions for making this puppy work or am
I the proud owner of a 3.5 pound doorstop?
(If so I'm gonna fill it with lead to make it a REAL doorstop,
3.5 pounds is too light for the winds we get here.)
