The terminal window is the icon along the bottom if I recall. And yes it does need to be done on a pc. Removes your existing HD's for safe keeping unless you need to write the image to it.

I recommend setting up the drives as the instructions state. Also watch the BIOS post to make sure the drives are set to M/S correctly.
