What tells you it's V 2 h/w pls?

The 'old' SNAP disks - an 80 & a 40 - both are good and the logs clean.

I'll pull the 500GB out and load it into a PC & run some diags...

Any clues as to what the 'unable to allocate 'x' memory' error really means? Does it try to allocate RAM for some sort of file table building or is it related to allocating space on the disk?
