If I do a "co de config mirror 10010 10000" I get yet a different error:

Unknown Error -4 in configuring a MIRRORRED device with members: 10010 10000

I will give Hallis's suggestion a shot and report back. When you say "If you go the individual way. Move your original drive to master (top)," do you mean if I decide to stick with JBOD? Or if I use JBOD and then try to rebuild the raid?
