Well your 701 MIGHT or might not support large drives. I dont know if Snap OEM'd the V1 or the V2 units to Dell for that one. Only thing to do would be to upgrade the system to 3.4.805 or greater for the 500gb drives. you'll beed 4.3.860 to get the AD2003 support. But you cant just upgrade straight from 3.4.805 to 4.3.860. you have to put 4.3.825 on and then upgrade to 4.3.860.

The Dell 701n for sure will NOT have gigabit ethernet. Neither does the 705n.
