If your unit is a 2U, it's a 4000 model not a 4100. Which is what I suspect, because the 2000 and 4000 used the same MB, in the early models. The 4100 has 4 IDE headers, where the 4400 has 2, (M/S setup).

The Snap OS has a 1T Limit. So you may be sending the drives back. You can run 2 Raid 1 and stay under the limit, but will loose the raid5 speed.
