In trying to activate UPS shutdown support on my 1100, it requires me to enter the admin user name and Authentication Phrase fom my APC UPS (SmartUPS 1500). The problem is, is that the Snap requires a 15 - 32 digit passphrase, but the UPS doesn't allow more than 10 characters to be used as a passphrase. Am I misunderstanding which passphrase to use, or is there a way to modify the Snap's requirements for the passphrase length? Adaptec's support site has nothing about this and APC told me to talk to Adaptec. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
