I think you should instead widen it and just make an additional fin and reorganize them so that the spacing works out right. I can see that you don't want any large gaps between fins but don't kill yourself. Having dremmeled copper before, let me tell you that it is time intensive. If a 5 minute tweak to the design is all you need to do to widen and shift the block then I say do that.
