Aloah Ladies and Gentlemen

Ok after searching the forum for a bit about this it seems that many people have played around with the Java Option of the Servers, but i am unable to find a comprehensive list of their results.

Has anyone been able to write some java apps for the units they are still using, if so, wich ones ?

Especially would be cool to have a java tool that constantly dispalys drive temperature in the GUI and lets you set a value at wich you get notified via mail.
