So Life's been good to me for the last few months.
I've been diving into my "new" job after leaving the State of Wisconsin after 5 years. It’s been a challenging time; very consuming, yet very rewarding. I have been using some of the techniques and code I made for this site at my job to help create automated scripts for some of the server work I do.
While I have been focusing on that in my life, something real big happened that has truly altered me in a good way. I found someone very special in my life and have fallen for her. Kate has really made my life much better, and more interesting than it was before. Between the new job and the new found love... my life is really nothing like it was even 6 months ago. Priorities are changing pretty rapidly, now what time would be used for geeking out, is now used for more rewarding things.
I just ordered new hardware for a new PC (Conroe E6600 based rig) and realized shortly after that I could care less about cooling. hehe I am going to be using the stocker intel HSF or if I plan to get crazy... a Zalman or something.
I am still into cars... and I am looking at later this year possibly buying a used Subaru STi, or something fun like that (maybe a used Vette or something). I currently run TSD road rallies as a Navi and now as a driver!
Last weekend Kate and I did our first TSD road rally and I trained her how to handle the Navi tasks using the system I used for doing it. On our first rally we won Stock class against some experienced competition. Not only that but she enjoyed doing it and we are going to do more in the future!. You just cant get any better than a woman who you love, that you can do rallies with ... I know most guys cant stand going to the store with their wife/gf... I love being in the car for 12 hours at a time with mine
So besides that, not much changes around here... you wont see me posting anything new on the site unless its TSD FAQ's or stuff like that... ProCooling is my past, Kate and my life is my future.
I will occasionally check in to see what’s up, and keep the site online and maintained, but not do really anything more as far as content.
