We are using Active Directory. I have Guardian 4.0.228 and am upgrading to SP2, to see if that fixes the problem. I also have an e-mail in to adaptec support to get 4.4 that came out a few days ago. I've read the release notes for the OS upgrades and don't see anything related to AD, but am hoping for the best.

I could easily enough create local users on the snap and have AD change those when password changing time comes around, but I want it to work correctly.

From what I've read in the userguide, I am doing everything correctly and it should be working. I'm hoping that there's a setting on the Snap that I'm missing or a setting on our AD server that needs to be changed.
