Nope, They made the OS pretty universal. For your purposes the standard 3.4.807 should work fine. If you get lucky and have one of the old Flashram 1000's then the drive swap will be EASY. Otherwise it is a bit of a pain having to image over the OS pertition using linux. Although not impossable. I did it with my 1100. I just dislike going into my PC case unless i HAVE to. lol.
