Default Re: Cant get into a 12000

I've been down the fan route. The CPU fan was not spinning, or spinning slow. So I put a new fan on it. The two main fans in the back seem to be working nicely. The 4 power supply fans were not working, but I was only able to replace two of those so far.

Booting the unit with no drives, I get:
Loading...
OS v4.0.860
Please wait...
and it sits there past 10 minutes...

If I hold the middle button, and turn on the unit, I get:
Flash update utility
Waiting for update
I am 192.168.1.44
but neither assist or osupdate.exe see it. Also I cannot ping it at this state.

If I remove the last 6 drives, the unit boots up, and is pingable, but the web server still does not work. Assist sees it as un-configured (but has an IP), but cannot apply the config to the unit (as it tries to send via http). (This is the same thing as if all 12 drives are in it. I dont know if every other drive is in the same raid5 set, or if its the first 6 drives in 1 set, and the 2nd 6 drives in the 2nd array.. when the unit is working, its setup as 2 raid 5 arrays).

I've tried putting different (ECC) memory in, no change... I suppose I can try putting in a different CPU, maybe this one is partially cooked? I also don't really have a way to test the power supply. (Its a cage with 2 slide-in power supplies, with edge connectors, I can remove those, and play with them, but since they have an edge connector, rather than a normal set of wires, I cant hook it to anything else).
