Why thank you, I try to keep spirits up when I can...
1) Well, I am not so sure I have the best either. A 15000 with 4 x 750 GB is the very best IMHO. I sold my 15000. I use 4500's and 4400's with 4 x 500 GB for my personal use. It's all I need for my uses (overkill in fact).
2) Ha ha ha. I knew that. I just didn't want anyone else reading into it wrong.
3) If they are the units I think they are (in Seattle, WA), then look even closer. They don't even have the OS installed (drives wiped). You know what kind of problems that will bring with it, big time.
4) LOL, I bought in bulk (28 drives). I would have to look around, but the last decent deal I saw on them was $92/ea plus shipping if I remember right. But they are worth every penny IMO.
5) Yeah, you and everyone else (supply and demand). Send me a PM and tell me what you can afford and I will look around for you. Don't BS me either. It's a lot of work.
6) Profit margin? Ha! What's that? For me the only profit is the feeling I get from doing it and the therapy I get from keeping busy with it (I suffer from PTSD). I will admit, doing the work is how I have been able to upgrade over time (but it took a lot of work, risk, and time). I have all of what I want/need these days, so it is all therapy now.
7) Too late. Someone bought one of the items already (earlier today). My stuff quite often does not make it to the end of the auctions due to people using the buy-it-now option on my stuff.
All in all, thank you very much for the compliments, I appreciate it and feel humbled by them. I do my best. I am not perfect, but I do try hard. And I know your intentions are good, no harm felt here from you.
