Default Re: Snap Server 2200 With No Drives - I Love You Forever Adaptec Xoxoxoxox

David,

I'm not sure, I could be way off base here, but I have a strong suspicion, more like a sixth sense thing, that WebDawg might be a litle bit upset?

WebDawg,

Get in line. You are a very long ways from the first person to come here and be a little upset with Adaptec Support.

I feel for you, I really do, but there are a couple problems. #1, I have never had a 2200, so I do not have an image. #2, and you already knew this one, the OS is copyright and thus canot be freely distributed by this forum. (expect to hear this from the admins, soon I bet)

If misery loves company, then here is all I can offer for help. Just imagine someone buying a much more expensive Guardian Unit and having the same problem, with the OS costing over $600 instead of under $200. Now they know pain.

FYI, the 4000 and 4100 have the Snap OS in flashram as you expressed you wanted. So does the 2000 and some of the single drive units if I remember right. All of the Guardian OS units are on Disk, but then the OS is on all 4 drives (backed up) in the 4 drive units.

Good luck, but I have nothing else I can offer... Sorry...
