I think I see the answer to my own question. I see now from the FAQ that it needs to be at least version OS 3.4.805. My version is 3.4.X, but I think "X" is less than "805" (I'm at work now and can't check). Therefore I need to update to at least OS 3.4.805.
Has anyone had any luck begging this version from Adaptec? (I know better than to request from the forum).
