Default Help! I think I killed my 2000 - Resolved!

I just picked up a used 2000 with no drives, and no RAM. After doing some research on the 2000's, I threw in a 128MB stick and booted. SnapServerManager and Assist both saw the server, and after a couple of 4-button resets I was able to login and configure the server.

Bios: 2.0.252
Hardware: 2.0.0
Software: 3.0.566

After changing the name and rebooting a few times, I decided to use Assist to upgrade to 4_0_860. This is the same upgrade I gave to both my 1100 and 2200. Assist took some time to load it in, then I noticed that the "attempts to connect" started incrementing. Bad sign. Assist eventually timed out and told me that the upgrade went through, but that I had to reboot it manually.

Well, I've done it several times, tried the 4-button reset several times, and even tried to put a 10GB drive (of unknown origin) in both IDE cables (one at a time of course), configured as MASTER. No dice. I still get the same symptom:

System light blinking twice - pause - twice - pause, etc.
Link light is steady on, as I would expect
Network light blinks randomly
Disk light flickers very seldom

Do I have a doorstop on my hands? I tried to view it in both of the utilities that picked it before, but they can't see it. I ran an IPSCANNER on my class, with no luck.

It's been on now for at least a half-hour with no status change. I really hope it didn't buy the farm. Please help.
