I've found no issue with Snap OS v4.0.860 shares being recognized in either OS X 10.4, or 10.5 (with recent updates applied). Is there something to be aware of?
The issue to me is that there has been no update to the Apple Snap Assist since OS 9 and for finding a newly set up Snap, a PC or Mac Intel running Windows may be needed. Unless a system is running OS 9 I guess.
Total agreement on the Adaptec image front and the hoops they make you go through to debate getting the last Snap software update.
