Look at the forum for the led flashes for what it could be. It's all there. You just have to look.
The Assist will not find the snap unless you have the SnapOS on the hard drive. That is why the Assist program is not seeing it. With your Snap1100 No SnapOS, No Assist connection. You should have tried getting the image off your damaged hard drive before you deleted all the partitions. Now you are stuck. This model does not recreat the SnapOS on the hard drive.
