No specific thing that I know of with the GOS as far as configuring. It should recognize the new upgraded RAM. If it doesn't then it may not be seated in the slot properly. Just remove and re install ONE by ONE. Not both because one might be seated correctly and the other may not be. Limit your variables if all possible when trouble shooting problems.

Actually yes - it is the actual Adaptec ram for the 410 model. It's just being purchased from CDW is all. To the best of my knowledge (not having seen it yet) it has all the original specs of the original ram only (2) 512meg sticks instead of (1) 256meg.
I was wondering if there was anything specifically I had to tell the system as far as the additional ram being there or if the OS would see it at boot and simply take advantage of it.
