I wonder too. I was thinking before I read your post about the rights that maybe the new company was going to insert there logos etc..in it and make it there own. But knowing that Adaptec still owns the rights I would guess a major bug. That's why I always stay one OS behind the newest version. I tried to go and download the version 5.0 fast , but Adaptec had it removed. Maybe the new company will be more user friendly towards customers and not try and nickel and dime everybody.
