The END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA) states you can not do this without Adaptec's written consent. The software looks to make sure it is on Snap hardware before it will run. So Please do not discuss this topic on the Forum.

There are several open NAS software (FreeNAS for one, or MS Server) that are design to run on any hardware you like even a snap.
