Default What now? Snap 2200 MIA

This forum is really great. I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

I'm trying to access / recover data from a SNAP Server 2200 with (2) Maxtor 250 GB drives. I'm not sure of the drive config (e.g RAID 0, JBOD, etc.).

My problem is that I can't access the 2200 at all. Assist won't find any IP address. Neither will anything show up in my router table. Trying http://Snap824711 gets nowhere.

I removed each Maxtor and successfully imaged each with a hardware type imager. There were no bad sectors and the drives seemed fine.

The power switch does not seem to work. If I plug in the power the unit will start up. I removed the PCB and tested the switch with an ohmmeter. It's fine.

The light patterns seem normal: SYSTEM flashes every 2 seconds; LINK is solid when connected to a network; NET blinks when anything is pinged on the net; the DISK light flashes in tandem with SYSTEM and then flashes one time before flashing with the SYSTEM L.E.D.

The system resets as expected: it will flash according to the number of times that the reset switch is pressed, then shut off and reboot without pressing in the START switch. Is this normal?

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.
