OK, so found number one and re-installed the #1 drive back in.
I now have the original drive in number 1 and the 3 new 500gs' in the other 3 bays.
I am able to boot normally to the kernal.
What do I do now?
If it boots normally, does that mean the 3 new drives are stripped with the OS and I can now remove #1 and install the new 500 at location #1 or do I have to keep the 250g in bay #1?

Please advise.
