No go on contact cleaning and resolder. Same thing. Also tried a brand new power supply. From a maxtor 1 touch. 12 volt 3 amp.

Guess it is the board. Strange. Never seen one dead. start working and then stop again. my bet is that it will work again in a couple of days lol.
