OK, something weird just happened. I went to the devices tab and the third hard drive said is was still part of the array that I had before.

This is impossible. I took all but one of the drives out (the one I left in was posistion 1) and one by one, put them in my windows box, went to disk management, and deleted everything on them.

Does the servers know it was part of the old array via the serial number of the drive or something? But how is that possible, I did a clean install.

This is really getting on my nerves. This farker worked flawlessly with the old drives.
