OK, 4th drive in, everything is running fast and smooth.

I checked the logs, nothing showed up. So I just created a RAID 5 and as I'm, going through the vol creation, it seems like it's going a bit slow.

The last three times I did this it took anywhere from 4 days to 6 to resync.

I didn't write anything to the server until it was done.

Problem is, I don't want to wait that long to see if this is going to work. Would it be OK to write something to the drives while they are in resync? I want to see if those errors show up in the log..
