Re: Snap Server 4500 CPU...
Lots of info... thanks Phoenix.
Well to start off, my Dumb...@zz brother messed up the orig. cpu.. he pulled it out to test a MoBo and powered it up without a heatsink..
Next - the 3.2Ghz I have IS a Mobile P4 so that answers that...
The 2.8Ghz i have is a Celeron.. not sure about this one..
I borrowed another 2.4Ghz P4 to test the 4500 and it did work..So 4500 is good.
Do'nt the Norwood P4 have a 800Mhz FSB?
System is running Windows XP on it...So GOS is gone...-But im sure i can get it back if needed -

"There is more information on each of those above, but I am always reluctant to pass along some of those details for the reasons of what I do on the side and more importantly what people do with the information. Sorry, but true."

4500 sits in my media rack under my stairs..(I would just like to get it going again,,if i can use a faster CPU it would be nice but if i have to, i'll find another 2.4Ghz.)
