Truth is, with the falling prices of other NAS and external HDs etc, coupled with the fact that the old SnapOS units (not GuardianOS units) are slow as H@#$, there is almost zero demand for the SnapOS units anymore. I think their lives have come to an end.

Speed may not always be important, but when you are talking many GB of data, at snail network speeds, it just doesn't work out well.

i.e. The 4100 may have a limit of 4 x 128GB, but what does it matter? Do you know how long it would take just to back up a full 4100 at it's fastest xfer rate? O U C H!
