I have a supermicro case, which if you aren't familiar with has a slight curve to the front bezel. I'm about to retire my bubblejet 200e, the front access panel of which just happens to exactly match this curve - so I'm thinking it would make a nice door for the drive bay area. There's a problem though, it's about 2 inches too narrow. You can see what i mean in this pic, sorry for the lousy quality:

So, I have 2 options.
1) Make 1 full length door for the 6 bays that leaves a gap on the right. I could either leave the gap open, or maybe attach a piece of tinted acrylic or something to fill it. There will be enough left over to also stealth the floppy.
2) Cut it in half and make 2 doors that are 4 bays long. I'd pull the bay cool 3 back out flush with the front. There won't be any leftover for the floppy.
I don't use the fan in the bay cool so blocking it with a door isn't a problem, though i may in the future so option 2 is more future safe. I still like both options though
Suggestions?
