If it's a newer 1100 v2 it should work. Snap use to use the same MB in both 1100 and 2200, just did not populate the board.

What you need to know is make sure the 1100 v2 is one that does not have OS in ram (v1).. Other wise it will install the os to match it's hardware. Normally it does not wipe the data but there is always that chance.
