I've unpacked and loaded GuardianOS 3.1.079 in the recovery web page, using "Upgrade/Repair" to "attempt to fix a corrupted OS and preserve system settings". Sounded promising.

Is this a disk error? Is 256MB RAM sufficient for the RAM disk it creates for the upgrade? Is there something I can do?
Remember I'm trying to preserve the data (if possible) so if I have to remove disks I'd like to be sure I don't lose anything...
