Default Re: Snap Server 1100 Disk Image

I spoke to my contact at Overland today about the very question that came up here from Bitor. This is the answer I was given.

Overland released the old Snap OS (not to be confused with Guardian OS) freely on their Web Portal. They have no problem with people on this forum freely distrubuting files needed for the old Snap OS. A key word there is freely, do not try to make any profit on its distribution! They do still OWN the copyrights. I repeat, do not try to make any profit on its distribution.

I also repeat, DO NOT confuse this with the Guardian OS, that is NOT released, and NOT open for distribution!

Thus, if you have a drive image for the Snap 1100 you can provide to rubicon to help him get his Snap 1100 back online, feel free to do so.

Clear enough?
