Snap 1100 connection problem

We have a Snap 1100 on the LAN in our office. We have never had a single issue with the product since it was purchased and installed in 2006. Last week one of the people in the office decided to copy all of the files on the Snap Server to the Western Digital USB drive he has connected to his PC. He simply clicked on the Snap Server icon and dragged it and dropped it on the icon for his USB drive. Nothing appeared to happen. However, now no one can access the Snap Server except him and only when he has his USB drive connected and turned on. I have done a reset to factory settings to no avail. I can access the Snap through Snap Appliance software and everything checks out fine. Does any one have any ided what setting needs to be reset so the Snap can be access via the LAN. We just get the error message that the the Snap cannot be found on the network. Does any one have any suggestions on what to do? Thanks.
