I used the liquid teflon, but it is very messy... If you remove a fitting with that stuff on it and you want to try and clean it... good luck. Maybe im just a mess but when I do it again im going with the tape. I also used a healthy smathering of silicon once my pipes were fitted, just for that extra something...
