I think that is what I will do actually. It is the only thing I can really do anyway. All the holes are in the wrong spot to do anything else. Being I already have the freeking mounts in place I just as well try it.

Why did the mill the top of the channel walls and then the top peice??? Dosn't that defeat the whole purpose of having a channel in the first place? And then the over lapping barbs, and then the 1/16" thick base? WTF where they thinking. This is a total waste of time milling this crap. This great machine work should be put to better use with a good block!!!.
