I can't see it being a bad thing. I thingk it may actually seal better as the nylon will streatch a bit. You just can't put to much pressure on it or they can break, but I highly doubt that will happen. I can never find them locally otherwise I would have already done it with my AL blocks as brass/cooler is not supposed to be good touching eachother. Just don't feel like ordering them though.
