Grand Forks North Dakota!! Not too many ND OCers out there that I've seen, very cool (literally). The only reason I say it is all of my family aside from my parents are either in Bismarck or Mandan...well I got an uncle in Madison WI but close enough.
Anyway, yes it is advisable you stay away from CPUfx/OCH. Their designs are very flawed (not to mention their marketing tactics). The res/pump in question here uses a boat bilge pump, these pumps run on DC and are designed to be run for short periods of time (a few minutes, 30 at the most), they are cheap, and not at all reliable. You probably have a month or 2 before it just up and dies on you, especialy if you leave you computer running for an extended period of time everyday. Instead I would highly recomend you look at an Eheim and perhaps read Unaclocker's article "The Rock" here on Procooling to give you an idea on how a hybrid inline reservoir works. I think this is deffiniatly the best tradeoff between an inline and res. system and is deffiniatly what you are looking for. Stay warm
